Senior Database Administrator
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Duration: 4 Months CTH
Strictly W2 - Independent Contractors (US Citizen or GC Holder or EAD)
Skill set(s):
6+ years of hands on administration of Oracle database environments, OLTP or VLDB experience preferred. Experience Preparing and/or reviewing database activity, progress, and performance reports and recommending/testing improvements as a result. Core DBA tasks for Database Administration in an Oracle 9i, 10g stand alone and Oracle RAC environment, including Dataguard setup and support, 11gR2 is a plus. In Depth understanding and hands on experience of shared pool internals, Oracle SQL tuning, Parallel Execution and Oracle wait event tuning within a RAC environment. In depth knowledge and experience of RMAN backup and restoration methods. On call support 24x7 two weeks out of each month
